The Zodiac and the Gospel - Chapter 12 Leo

Image
✰✰LEO (THE LION)✰✰ Corresponds with the tribe of Judah Hebrew - ahr YEH - meaning the lion Here we are! We finally made it to the twelfth and final chapter of our constellation circle. The "riddle of the sphinx" has been solved. Between Virgo and Leo is the grand story of salvationLeo the lion completes the circle and allows it to fully close. Did you know the word paradise means a garden enclosed ? The Mazzaroth is a circle of twelve signs enclosing paradise, and it is ONLY completed by the lion who is the Messiah. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The Latin translation for this word is regulus  or prince . The Arabic meaning is the heart of the lion . Many words in Hebrew mean lion, but this particular version of the word is only translated a lion hunting its prey . When Jacob (Israel) laid dying, he have his final blessing to Judah. "Judah is a lion's welp. He lies down as a lion and as a lion who can rouse him?" Genesis 49:9.

The Zodiac and the Gospel - Chapter 11 Cancer

Image
✵✵CANCER (THE CRAB)✵✵ Corresponds with the tribe of Issachar Greek - carcinos - meaning holding or encircling Latin meaning is cancer Picture the Zodiac making one big circle with all the constellations hugging the outside perimeter. As we started in Virgo, at the top of the circle, we have nearly come full circle to Cancer. The only constellation left to make the circle complete is Leo (the lion). A crab is an odd thing to liken to the gospel, but once you hear its meaning I think it will excite you and keep your eyes open to what is right around the corner for us prophetically. The crab has many legs, or members. As the body of believers we too are made up of every tribe, tongue and nation. The Bible talks very clearly about the body of Christ having many parts  Click here :   12  For just as  the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body,  so it is with Christ. 13  For  in one Spirit we were all bapti

The Zodiac and the Gospel - Chapter 10 Gemini

When Paul left Malta, he was on an Alexandrian ship with the figurehead of twin gods, Caster and Pollux on the front. Acts 28:11 tells us, It was three months after the shipwreck that we set sail on another sip that had wintered at the island -- an Alexandrian ship with the twin gods as its figurehead." Caster and Pollux were linked with Hercules in Greek mythology. They are the two brightest stars in the constellation of Gemini. Caster means Apollo  who was the ruler and judge. Pollux means Hercules  which means strong one coming to labor or suffer. In these brief descriptions we get a strong sense not of the my

It pictures a ferocious rushing bull with its head down ready to explode into his enemies. It corresponds with the tribe of Joseph and his two sons who are symbolized as the two horns of the bull. Joshua 17:17 tells us, "Then Joshua said to the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, the descendants of Joseph, 'Since you are so large and strong, you will be given more than one portion.'" The Meaning of the Bull: This bull exploding into his enemies is the sacrificial lamb who becomes a charging bull who will personally deliver the kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven. A bull is the personification of judgment and Christ coming to conquer and rule. Isaiah 34:2 tells us, "For the LORD is enraged against the nations. His furry is against all their armies. He wi

The Zodiac and the Gospel - Intermission

Image
✴✴✴VIRGO THROUGH ARIES -  BRIEF INTERMISSION✴✴✴ So far we have looked at the first eight chapters of the story of Redemption through God's communicated messages found in the Zodiac. We have gone from the Virgo virgin, to the scales of Libra, over to the scorpion of Scorpio, around to the archer of Sagittarius, up to the Capricorn sea goat of chapter 5, on to the Aquarian water bearer, the fishes of Pisces, and winding up at the ram/lamb of Aries. This concludes the constellations that tell of Jesus's coming and sacrifice.  Chapters nine through twelve will take us from Taurus to Leo. These last four constellations will tell the story of Jesus's return as we anticipate the arrival of our coming king, the Lion of the tribe of Judah: Taurus - the bull, Gemini - the twins, Cancer - the crab, and Leo - the lion. The Zodiac and the second coming: Prophets of old received revelation of a coming Messiah, but often there was a second prophecy telling of His return. God use

The Zodiac and the Gospel - Chapter 8 Aries

Image
✩✩ARIES (THE RAM OR LAMB)✩✩ Corresponds with the tribe of Gad Hebrew - tah LEH - meaning the lamb The Latin word aries means , lamb.  The brightest star in this constellation is named ras-al-hamal, meaning the head of the ram. This constellation depicts a lamb or ram bounding across the night sky. The ram/lamb is a powerful symbol of salvation in Scripture. Jesus was the Lamb slain.  And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered before the world was made. Revelation 13:8 Aries tells the story of the Lamb from Heaven spoken of in Revelation when John weeps because no one is worthy to open the seal. Suddenly, he turns and sees a lamb looking as though he'd been slain. Then I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll and read it. But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, "Stop weeping! Look,

The Zodiac and the Gospel - Chapter 7 Pisces

Image
✩✩PISCES (THE FISHES)✩✩ Corresponds with the tribe of Simeon Hebrew - dah GEEM - meaning the fishes; closely related to the multitudes This constellation depicts two fish tied together with bands around each of their tails. It is a clear picture of the heart of the Father and the heart of the Son for both Jew (one fish) and Gentile (the other fish) and binds them together as one body in Him. Joining both Jew and Gentile together brings about perfect peace. Making two into one brings about multiplication and blessing. For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. Ephesians 2:14 The Hebrew meaning is closely related to the meaning,  the multitudes. Then God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry alon g

The Zodiac and the Gospel - Chapter 6 Aquarius

Image
✩✩AQUARIUS (THE WATER BEARER)✩✩ Corresponds with the tribe of Reuben Hebrew - de LEE - meaning the water urn or bucket The Latin word aquarius means water pourer. This constellation depicts a redeemer pouring out his spirit upon us. He pours an unlimited supply of water from an urn into the mouth of a fish. The Bible abounds with Scripture referencing the Lord pouring out His spirit as water is poured out on His people. Jesus promised, "If anyone thirsts let him come to me and drink. He who believes in me as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water" John 7:37-38. The story of the water bearer is the story of a Savior giving a world the greatest substance of life. As fish need water, we need the Spirit of the Lord. Jesus came not only to be our atonement, but also the water of life poured out into a stream that never runs dry. Nothing  will hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain, for as the waters fill the sea, s

A goat in the Bible was an atoning sacrifice. This goat has the tail of a fish. Fish symbolizes the people for whom the atonement is made. The goat sacrifices His life for the fish, and the fish are full of vigor and life.  Then he must take the two male goats and present them to the LORD at the entrance of the Tabernacle. He is to cast sacred lots to determine which goat will be reserved as an offering to the LORD and which will carry the sins of the people to the wilderness of Azazel. Aaron will then present as a sin offering the goat chosen by lot for the Lord. The other goat, the scapegoat chosen by lot to be sent away, will be kept alive, standing before the LORD. When it is sent

This constellation depicts a bow aimed directly at the heart of the scorpion. It's a mirror of the Lord who will come, full of glory, honor and power piercing all the king's enemies with his arrows. Jesus is the archer. His heel was stung by the scorpion, but his arrow pierces the scorpions heart, forever vanquishing him.  The three brightest stars in this constellation are named: Al Naim, which in Hebrew means the gracious one;  Lyra whose Hebrew meaning is praise for the conqueror, and Vega meaning He shall be exalted   in Hebrew. All three describe the person of Jesus.   Your arrows are sharp, piercing your enemies; hearts. the nations fall beneath your feet. Psalm 45:5

The Zodiac and the Gospel - Chapter 3 Scorpio

Image
✩✩SCORPIO (SCORPION/SERPENT)✩✩ Corresponds with the tribe of Dan Hebrew - ahk-RAHV - meaning conflict or war  This constellation depicts a scorpion attempting to sting the heal of a mighty man who grinds his heal into the scorpion's heart while wrestling with the serpent. The Arabic meaning is wounding him that comes. Here are some images that show this representation: In the Bible Satan repeatedly tries to destroy the seed of Abraham and fails. Even Haman in the book of Esther wanted Jesus's people killed. There are many verses that point to this. Lets take a look at a few. The Spirit then compelled Jesus to go into the wilderness, where He was tempted by Satan for forty days. He was out among the wild animals and the angels took care of Him.Mark 1:12-13 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. The Arabic word for this constellation means purchase or redemption, while the Latin word, libra, means weighing.  "Who else has held the oceans in his hand? Who has measured off the heavens with His fingers? Who else knows the weight of the earth or has weighed the mountains and hills on a scale?" Isaiah 40:12 When Daniel was called to read the writing on the wall in Daniel 5:27 it says, " Tekel  means 'weighed' -- you have een weighed on the balances and have not measured up." We have been weighed and found wanting. We have been separated from God by our sins. There is no amount of good works we can do to outweigh the power of sin over us. Jesus is the only one who can not only balance the scales, but actually tip them

The Zodiac and the Gospel - Chapter 1 Virgo

Image
✩✩VIRGO (VIRGIN)✩✩ This  picture depicts a virgin holding a branch in her right hand and ears of corn in her left Corresponds with Tribe of Zebulun Hebrew - mah-ZAHL-be-too-la - meaning virgin The virgin is the beginning of all prophecy. She represents the promise of salvation and the defeat of evil.  "And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel." Genesis 3:15 The Hebrew meaning, as stated above means virgin. The Latin word is virgo which also means virgin. It also corresponds with the Latin word virga, meaning branch. The Bible has much to say about Jesus being "The Branch."  "Out of the stump of David's family will grow a shoot - yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root." Isaiah 11:1 "But in that day, the branch of the Lord will be beautifu and glorious; the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory o

Proverbs 31 - I Hate Sewing (Proverbs 31 Conclusion)

Image
I Am Not a Fan Of Sewing: One of the attributes most discussed in Proverbs 31 is sewing and clothing. While most women like to shop for clothes and look good, not all of them like to sew as alluded to in this chapter. Much focus is given to how resourceful she is with what she has been given. "She finds wool and flax and busily spins it.  Her hands are busy spinning thread, her fingers twisting fiber. She makes belted linen garments and sashes to sell to the merchants." verses 13, 19, and & 24 . The point here is she is staying active and busy contributing income to her family. While these verses focus on her role outside the home, w hen it comes to her role inside the home the verses are very different. It Feels Thankless: The verses referencing this wife inside the home are more focused on what she wears and her family's needs being taken care of. "She has no fear of winter for her household, for everyone has warm clothes. She makes her own bedspread
