The Zodiac and the Gospel - Chapter 4 Sagittarius

✩✩SAGITTARIUS (THE ARCHER)✩✩

Corresponds with the tribe of Asher
Hebew - kah-SHAI or keset - meaning the archer

In Latin the word sagittarius means the archer, and in Arabic it means the arrow. This constellation depicts a bow aimed directly at the heart of the scorpion. It's a mirror of the Lord who will come, full of glory, honor and power piercing all the king's enemies with his arrows. Jesus is the archer. His heel was stung by the scorpion, but his arrow pierces the scorpions heart, forever vanquishing him.

The three brightest stars in this constellation are named: Al Naim, which in Hebrew means the gracious one; Lyra whose Hebrew meaning is praise for the conqueror, and Vega meaning He shall be exalted  in Hebrew. All three describe the person of Jesus.

Your arrows are sharp, piercing your enemies; hearts. the nations fall beneath your feet. Psalm 45:5
